Wilhelmina Wheeler is a peaceful protester. She roller skates amongst the protesters with her homemade quilted sign that she can flip over to convey two messages: Black Lives Matter and Wear a Mask. Bother are equally pressing to her in the current times. This piece was the winner of the Montague Cultural Council and Massachusetts Cultural Council Grant for expressing my art during the covid crisis.
